Salem is part of the Palmyra Area Cooperating Churches (PACC). PACC is responsible for many local outreach ministries, including:
- The Phoenix Youth Center
- Interfaith Manor - a low cost senior living facility
- Palmyra Area Counseling Center
- CROP Walk for Hunger
- Caring Cupboard

Caring Cupboard June 2009 Needs: canned goods: fruit, juice, meats, pasta, tuna, vegetables; meal helpers; cereal; peanut butter crackers; jelly; boxed macaroni & cheese; peanut butter; individual serving size packages of raisins and applesauce; juice boxes; spaghetti sauce; dish detergent; laundry detergent; diapers; baby wipes; paper products: paper towels, facial tissue, toilet tissue; personal hygiene needs: deodorant, feminine products; shampoo, bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste
Peanut Butter & Jelly Sunday, July 12: In order to carry the Caring Cupboard through the summer with the lunch program, Sunday, July 12 has been designated as Peanut Butter & Jelly Sunday.
PACC Ministries Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, July 18, at Manada Golf Course. The event will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Cost: $50.00 per person (includes $26.00 donation) cash or check may be made payable to PACC with a notation of "PACC Golf Tournament" on the memo line. All proceeds benefit the Caring Cupboard. There will be lots of prizes, surprises, and fun for all who attend. Please sign up on the sheet posted on the east narthex bulletin board by Wednesday, July 1. Payment is due at time of signing up. Contact Burt Hunt for more information (838-1935).
Community Needs Funds: Assist those less fortunate in our own neighborhood. Typical needs met include fuel/utility arrears, back rent or security deposit for relocation. Transient assistance such as food, fuel, or lodging is also offered when requested. Checks can be made to PACC and designated for "Crisis Assistance". Any funds received will be applied to Community Needs Funds requests

Food Donations may be dropped off: Monday: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday: 9:00 to 12:00 noon and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; Friday: 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
Hours of Operation: Monday: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; Friday: 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
