Great Prayers of the Bible
Cornelius' Prayer — Remembered by God, Before He Knew Christ
God tells Cornelius that his prayers and gifts to the poor 'have come up as a memorial offering before God' — remarkable, since Cornelius was not yet a believer in Jesus. His devout life opened the door for Peter's vision and the Gospel's first move toward the Gentiles, showing how seriously God takes an honest heart seeking Him, wherever it's found.
