Privacy Policy & Terms of Service
How we collect, use, and protect your information on the Salem School of Witnessing platform.
Last updated: July 2026
1. Introduction
SALEM : PNEUMA_KERYGMA ("we", "us", "the ministry") operates this website and app to provide Christian formation, community, and evangelization resources. This policy explains what information we collect from you, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices you have. By registering an account, submitting a form, or making a payment on this site, you agree to the practices described here.
This policy applies to every visitor and member of the site, whether browsing publicly or signed in to a member account.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you register.
Content you submit: prayer requests, testimonies, journal entries, community posts, direct messages, and any photos or documents you upload.
Payment information: when you give, purchase a Shop item, or pay for a course, your payment is processed directly by our payment provider (Flutterwave, Stripe, Paystack, or Mobile Money) — we do not see or store your card number or Mobile Money PIN. We keep a record of the transaction itself (amount, date, item, and status) to manage your order and provide receipts.
Usage information: basic technical data such as device type and general activity on the site (for example, which lessons you've completed), used to keep the app secure and to show your own progress back to you.
Cookies and local storage: small pieces of data stored in your browser to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use these to track you across other websites.
3. How We Use Your Information
To create and maintain your member account and single sign-in session.
To deliver the features you use — lessons and certificates, prayer and community features, notifications, and livestream access.
To process payments and deliver what you purchased (digital downloads, physical items, or course access).
To communicate with you — for example, a reply to a submission, a notification you've opted into, or an important account or security notice.
To keep the platform safe — for example, reviewing reported community messages or investigating misuse.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason.
4. Sharing Your Information
We only share your information with the small number of outside services that help us run this site: our payment processors (to complete a transaction you initiated), our hosting and database providers (to store the site and your data securely), and, if you choose to enable it, third-party services you connect yourself (for example, joining a linked Telegram or WhatsApp group). We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our members and community.
5. Children's Privacy
This platform is intended for general audiences and is not directed at young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without appropriate parental or guardian awareness. If you believe a child has registered or submitted information without appropriate consent, please contact us using the details below so we can review and remove it.
6. Your Choices & Rights
You can review and update most of your account information at any time from Dashboard → Settings. You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable time.
7. Terms of Service — Acceptable Use
By using this site, you agree to use it respectfully and in good faith — not to harass other members, post unlawful or abusive content, attempt to bypass security, or misuse the payment system.
Community, messaging, and testimony features are moderated; content that violates these guidelines may be removed and, in serious or repeated cases, an account may be suspended.
One-time purchases (courses, Shop items, digital downloads) are as described at checkout; refund requests can be made by contacting us directly and will be reviewed case by case.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the platform grows. The "Last updated" date above will change whenever we do, and significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
