Pentecost — Power for Witness, Not Just Personal Experience
Pentecost is often remembered for its dramatic signs — wind, fire, tongues — but Peter's own explanation points past the spectacle to its purpose: the Spirit poured out so that Christ could be proclaimed to 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord.' Every genuine encounter with the Holy Spirit points outward in witness, not only inward in feeling.
