Venerable Francis Libermann
Priest, Founder of the Society of the Holy Heart of Mary; Superior General of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (Spiritans)
Born Jacob Libermann, the son of a rabbi, he converted from Judaism to Catholicism as a young man, was ordained despite years of delay from severe illness, and went on to found a missionary society for the evangelization of Africa and the African diaspora — which he then merged with an older struggling community to create the modern Congregation of the Holy Spirit (the Spiritans), still serving across Africa and the world today.

Religious Sister, Founder of the Missionaries of Charity, "Mother Teresa"
Born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu to an Albanian family, she left a stable teaching order to found the Missionaries of Charity, dedicating her life to 'the poorest of the poor' on the streets of Calcutta — becoming, in her own lifetime, perhaps the most recognized face of Christian charity in the modern world.
